2010 was a rough year both for me personally and here at Feminist Pornographer. The site has gone up and down a couple times now, and for the many months it was up in 2010, I could never get it together to do the type of writing I really want to do on this site. So until I truly get the time and inspiration to write again, I’m letting my weekly Sunday morning deadline go. For the time being, I’ll point you to a couple of my and my readers’ favorite posts, as examples of what I originally intended this site to encompass and the variety of types of posts I hope to get back to doing in the future:

Well, it seems that this is the month of video for Feminist Pornographer. My ishotmyself.com video debuted this week. To see it, click here, sign up for a membership if you don’t already have one, and search for my ISM screen name: Philomena.
The video was inspired by Richard at ishotmyself suggesting that my pencil test pictures from my May 2010 blog post would make a great subject for a video. So if you’d like to see my pencils in action, check it out.
I am really really pleased with how it turned out. I wasn’t so sure I would be so pleased with it because I didn’t have control of the the final editing. I put in a lot of time to editing the video I submitted — trimming out ends of the clips where I was futzing around with the remote and turning the camera on and off, and splicing the clips together to make one single video to submit. When it debuted, and I logged in, I was more than a little worried that I’d be disappointed if the ISM folks’ further editing changed it too much. But man, oh man, their editing was fuckin’ awesome. They stayed completely true to my vision but just made it cooler — doing fancy things like editing my voice over different parts of the video.
I’m returning today with the video I had hoped to do a few moths ago. In it, C is beating my ass with the rubber whip which I got from Babeland and which I featured in some photos a few months ago. I have to say that when I got the whip, I thought it was rather cute, and it didn’t look like it could hurt very much. I was wrong. It was really hard to take, and I was thankful when we finally got a clip that we thought was good to upload here.

For the next few weeks, I’ll be posting some pictures of the marks C left on me a few weeks ago. This was before my medical problem that left me unable to take an ass beating for at least another month.

Sorry to again disappoint with another literal sick week — real life medical problems continued to need my full attention this week. Hopefully, I’ll get well enough soon to do some sick stuff with my new whip instead!
